Everything is on the internet these days. If it has electricity, it most likely has internet access. With billions of devices dedicated to providing convenience for consumers, it's no wonder how many fall victim to hackers. By opening our homes and businesses to the internet, we also offer a large enough attack surface that hackers can use just about anything as a pivot point for more extensive hacks. Should we be more cautious in our use of IoT devices? Should we really be this afraid?
