The Onondaga Community College Women's Soccer team is beginning to play well as it progresses into the season. "We're trending in the right direction," said Head Coach Sean St. Denis. "If we continue to play the way we are capable of playing, we should end up with an above .500 record and possibly contend for the regional championship. We've proven we can hang with some of the best teams in the region."

St. Denis and two of his players, Madison Pelton and Lynnae Russell, sat down with us for our an edition of our podcast, "Chatting About College." St. Denis, who also coaches soccer at the Central New York Family Sports Centre on Jones Road near Baldwinsville, began coaching Pelton when she was 7 years old. Pelton would go on to play varsity soccer at Phoenix High School for 5 years. She's in OCC's Nursing degree program.

Russell came to OCC from Moravia High School where the Auburn Citizen named her the "Girl's Soccer Player of the Year." She's a freshman in the Humanities degree program.
