So many times we hear people say “I want the right person” when referring to having a significant other. No one ever really dissects what makes an individual the “right person” to be with in a relationship. That person may not come to you fully developed; lacking in some areas, yet still fitting most of the characteristics in which you’re seeking. They may need your help to develop and become the person you’re looking for. We don’t always get what we want. Sometimes we get what we need. Love isn’t judgmental more than it is inspirational. We should meet our partners where they are currently in life and motivate them to evolve into their greater selves. This is how we become the RIGHT person in someone’s life.
