Black History Month 2024

Change Tomorrow Today

Feb 20 2024 • 31 mins

The month of February should be a time for remembrance and reflection. The mistakes that were made that lead our ancestors into captivity but also the strength, courage, and determination displayed by them moving the needle forward so we could experience freedom. We must never forget we were more than slaves but we must never forget our ancestors plight in this country. It is our duty as a people to keep moving forward with love and positivity towards one another. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!! culture provides a framework for black individuals to connect with their history, customs, beliefs, traditions, language, and heritage. It serves as a source of affirmation, self-expression, and pride and allows individuals to celebrate their unique cultural experiences.
