In this episode, we sit down with Julia Driscoll. In addition to being the assistant director for the MAAA program, Julia is a "MAAAlumni" herself. She serves as the MAAA program's lead academic advisor and supports the MAAA program office's many initiatives in student engagement, recruitment, community-building, and other areas of student services in collaboration with the Master's Programs Office.
Previously, Julia served in other roles at IU including as the Program Director for the Center for Cultural Affairs, a career advisor in the O'Neill School's Career Hub, and as the Program and Operations Coordinator for the IU Arts and Humanities Council. In addition to her Master's degree in Arts Administration, Julia has a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Texas Tech University. Outside of her work at IU, she volunteers with Bridges: Musical Arts Youth Organization, and plays violin with local Argentine tango band Tamango.
