On Saturday, October 8th, the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, which Palestinians in the Gaza Strip elected to be their political leadership, launched a wicked, evil, barbaric surprise attack on Israel, slaughtering over 1,300 innocent Israelis as well as 27 American citizens in cold blood. Iran aided and helped plan the crimes against humanity committed by Hamas, and so Iran is every bit as culpable as Hamas. Today, we will look evil in the face and declare it to be exactly that: evil.  Such despicable evil demands a swift and resolute response from Israel and from the leader of the free world, and Israel’s ally, the United States.  The U.S. must take the lead in this fight to protect Israel and preserve Western civilization itself.
