This episode is from one of my coaching calls. If you are interested in financial coaching services please visit my website: https://www.onroutefinancial.com/

In this episode we tackle the challenges of facing tough financial times and transforming them into a roadmap for success.

My client candidly shares their experiences of not always making the best financial decisions and the difficulty of recovering from such setbacks. However, they were determined to take control and manage their finances in a way that felt good and sustainable.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, she ventured into the short-term rental business and freelancing. Their goal is to achieve a monthly income of 10 - 12k, covering their bills, savings, and providing a cushion for unforeseen expenses.

We discuss the importance of distinguishing an emergency account from a regular savings account, allowing her to plan and budget wisely without dipping into funds meant for other goals.

Developing an expense tracking habit is a crucial step in this journey, and she shares her experiences of adopting this new habit. We explore strategies to make expense tracking work effectively and tailor it to their unique needs.

We talk about:

  • Making smart financial decisions
  • Distinguishing different accounts for different goals
  • Establishing an effective tracking system
  • Developing good financial habits
