The Central Kentucky area, especially Marion and Washington County have a special connection with this year's Kentucky Derby.  John Ennis, the trainer of Epic Ride just happened to marry a Southern Belle from Washington County - Erin Goode!  That would be the daughter of everybody's favorite Hal B. Goode.  Now, when you're talking connections, how about the famous Marilyn Smith (Hal's beautiful wife), Ms. Norma Goode (The Queen of East Texas, Ky and mom of Hal B.) and Jo Smith (mom of Marilyn and grandmother of Erin)a of the famous Beantown!  Well, let's say this Ole Irishman - John Ennis knows some great Kentucky families when he sees them!  Sit back, grab you some good ole Irish refreshments and take a listen to Trainer John Ennis talk about Epic Road, the Kentucky Derby and his now Old Kentucky Home!
