This week we’re learning just how much the internet impacts climate change and how much climate change in turn could impact the internet if we don’t act soon (in both cases, it’s a lot!). From protecting our fiber optic cable infrastructure from storm surge to the potential impact of wildfires on mobile networks, it turns out the services we are so dependent on might not be ready. We’re joined by veteran science journalist Maddie Stone to talk about the risks and what it is we can do to keep the internet from sinking under the rising tide.
