Immigrant Entrepreneur: Nelly Garcia

Nelly came to the States when she was 15 years old with her family and knew very little English. She grew up in Mexico where they didn't have central Air Conditioning and she didn't know what she was missing until they moved to the States.

At a very young age, she learned that making money is very easy and that she enjoyed it but when life hit her hard at a very tragic place in her life, she lost all of her hope. She was depressed, had no friends and lost her faith. For 2 years she thought she was nothing.

But one point she turned to God and asked for help. It was at that point where her entrepreneur journey had pivoted in the right direction.

Nelly went on to create her bakery and was feautured in Entreprenuers Magazine, and Forbes list: 30 under 30. Her entrepreneur journey brought tears to my eyes and she's a true inspiration to people all around the world.
