Uncut with Jay Cutler

Jun 8 2022 • 51 mins

Jay sits down with country superstar Randy Rogers, and they talk about how Randy got his career started and how hard it was to get his stuff played on the radio early in his career and having big shows regardless of that support. Randy and Jay also talk about how hard life can be when you're on the road and missing events with your kids, but they both try to reflect on all the cool stuff they get to do in light of missing family time. Randy also dives into his road into music, and how he grew up in a musical family (which seems to be a trend for our music guests) and how he tried to develop a business acumine in college so he could build a business. Jay and Randy also discuss why his music stopped getting played on country radio, how that sound has evolved, and remaining true to his sound and style. Plus Randy's new bourbon is on the market and he talks about the wild adventure into the liquor industry.
