05 - Finding Laughter after Taking a Bullet - Pat Bacon: Ranger Regiment + Police veteran

Prep For Impact

Aug 30 2023 • 1 hr 2 mins

Pat Bacon is a Ranger Regiment veteran who became a DC metro cop and ended up in a scuffle for his life that resulted in him getting shot on the job!

Pat talks us through his early life as a Ranger - the tough indoctrination, the foundational training, the deployments, and ultimately the brotherhood that will live forever.  He explains his transition into law enforcement, going from combat ranger to keeper of the peace in DC is no snap of the fingers.  Yet when the fight for his life found him, well Rangers still lead the way.  Pat is now successful in both business and in making all of us laugh with his hilarious IG milmeme page - @victorydriveby

Host note - I’m a nobody blessed to chat with incredible somebodies about their experiences and perspectives on each episode of Prep For Impact. The opinions expressed on the show are mine and those of the guests alone -not the official position of GBF, our employers, the DOD, or anyone else. It is my firm belief that the true best way to “Prep For Impact” is to live a life under the Lordship of God the Father, saved by grace through Jesus His Son, and led along His path for your life by the Holy Spirit.
