We hope that you enjoyed the 2024 Spring Jamboree here in beautiful Boulder City, Nevada.
The Spring Jamboree, which has been held since 1977, is considered by many to be Boulder City's first major public festival of the year. We had the pleasure of interviewing a cross-section of artisans, board members, and volunteer associations that help to make this public festival the success that it is.
Our guest on this segment of The Best Dam Podcast is long-time resident and climate advocate, Rose Ann Rabiola Miele, with Boulder City Climate Action.
Rose Ann shares her personal journey from Chicago to Boulder City, her brief stint in Las Vegas, and her deep commitment to environmental concerns. Together with her colleague, Professor George Rhee, they're championing the cause of sustainable resource use through community engagement and data-driven discussions. If you’re curious about local action on global issues like climate change, water, and energy, this conversation at the Spring Jamboree is not to be missed.
