People like Meat Canyon, Tom Scott, and even MatPat of Game Theory fame are all changing directions with their content, or stepping away from YouTube altogether. We’re here to talk about why. We kick off the episode by highlighting some of the major announcements that have been posted recently. Whether they’re about a change in content style, or a complete, formal retirement, they all have one thing in common – these people are at the top of their game. We also talk about the possible “time limit” on a grind-heavy operation like the ones these creators are running. Is there a set amount of time someone can create like this, or is it something else? How much do real-life changes get in the way of things? Why stop at all? In his true scholarly fashion, Kevin has been studying these videos since they started popping up.
