On one level, the emotional cost of negativity is obvious. Our thoughts drive our emotions, so when we think negative thoughts, we feel bad.
But, there's actually a much stronger emotional cost than we realize, because whenever we have negative thoughts, we end up pitting one half of ourselves against the other.
