You know that old song they play in all the movies when the Clock strikes 12 on Dec 30th, marking the start of the new year?

Well, It's titled Auld Lang Syne, and was first written as a poem in 1788 by a Scottish man named Robert Burns.

He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide.
