Overtime Radio

Oct 4 2020 • 37 mins

Current Muslim, and prison reform activist, Amir Muhadith has had a rollercoaster of a journey.  From growing up in the streets of Harlem to getting signed to P. Diddy's label, Bad Boy Records, Amir has experienced the rags to riches story.  He discovered Islam in 2008 and has been preaching Islam and peace all over the world.  He was then falsely accused of dealing drugs, leaving him with a hefty prison sentence.  Just this July, Amir was released from prison.

Amir discusses his personal experience with the corrupt prison system as a Muslim in America.  He explains the good that came out of his sentence and how to keep the youth away from what he had to go through.  He also discusses his love for our religion, Islam.
