“Processes Equal Predictability” – words of wisdom from Ryan Condron of the successful Commercial Painting company, Renovia. As Regional Sales Manager for a growing company with branches across the United States, Ryan shares with us the value of having predictable service for your clients. This predictability leads to satisfied clients, ability to grow, relieves stress on employees and helps to prevent errors (among other things). In an entertaining and thought provoking way, Ryan talks about company values, dedication to your craft and so much more in this episode. Ryan is an inspirational guy with a great message.

Some of the show highlights:

-Culture is king – Ryan talked about his journey to Renovia and the multi-interview process over a long period of time. He shares the real talk of anxiety of going to so many interviews and the ultimate appreciation that the company is that dedicated to finding the best employees for their vision.

-Culture is king 2 – he also shared that Renovia not only wants the right personalities and values in their employees but that they also look for people that can handle constructive feedback for the purpose of growth.

-He is a family man; Rob and Ryan spoke about having a high work ethic but still giving your people time to be with family and to be well rounded as a human being

-Renovia has so many great values; one such thing that we loved “We exist to be a light in the community and around the world.”

-More on positive messaging and growth related to Kaizen and Serve first mentality

-As people and individuals, we can all exercise continuous improvement as Renovia does. One of their processes of improvement is to analyze jobs as a team on a regular basis to talk about where things could have been done better to make the best outcome for every project

-Ryan mentioned many of the charitable outreach items that he and the company hold dear including helping United Way and Homes of Hope. We loved that they build homes for families in need in Mexico each year and the feeling he got from seeing how they could change lives

-We really enjoyed the story of Origin USA in Maine and how their company was founded with values, quality and giving local workers jobs and career opportunities.

-Ryan shared that the work harder culture may be trending, but perhaps that only leads to burnout. The better system is based around accountability. Stop clock watching but rather focus on people that are accountable, get their jobs done each day and take pride in what they do.

We hope you all enjoy the show as much as we did!
