As a Certified Workforce Development Professional, LaPora Lindsey considers her passions a
combination of inspiration, education, and writing. As an inspirational speaker and career coach,
she has worked in career services for over 13 years assisting individuals and groups by
providing insights on recognition of how each person is able to bring a positive impact into the
workplace.

After facing a major change in her career which led to unemployment followed by years
no being stagnant, LaPora started to study aspects of career development. Over the
years she has taken lessons learned, either through her own personal experiences or
those of others and created workshops and keynotes that provide a new approach to the
challenges in careers which gone largely unaddressed.
LaPora continues to share her tips on both national and local platforms through writing
and speaking.
