With King Louis XVI and the French revolutionaries arguing over the new constitution, one man steps up to try to solve the situation: Antoine Barnave, who makes a deal with the queen, Marie Antoinette, to govern France jointly. But will their plans survive the plotting of more radical revolutionary elements?
