Merry Christmas!  I can’t believe that it is the final week of advent and preparing our hearts for the celebration of Christmas.  At this time of year when there can be so much going on, I’ve decided to spend this episode with you bathing our hearts and minds in scripture.  It is all too easy to busy ourselves so much that we neglect to still our hearts enough to truly abide in Him.

We have so many voices constantly pouring into us, voices from those around us and in the voices we allow in our own minds, it is more important than ever that we be mindful of taking every thought captive and slowing down our hearts and minds to be filled with His truth.  It is my prayer that this brief time together will leave you so filled with His Word that His joy will be made complete in you and your heart will be overflowing with His joy and love to those around you.

As John 15 speaks to us so clearly, may we abide in Him this Christmas week.
