In this episode of Bible Beyond, we learn about King Nebuchadnezzar's dream. When Daniel interprets the dream, it turns out that Babylon, along with every other mighty kingdom, will be destroyed. Upon hearing this news we would expect King Nebuchadnezzar to be thrust into even greater distress, but instead he praises God and thanks him for the dream. In order to make sense of this conflicting response, we examine the idols that both the king and ourselves cling to, and how Jesus removed those idols to give us peace in his true salvation.
