Welcome to Real WW Talk! We are Candice, Erin, and Rikki, three diverse friends who met in the Weight Watchers Studio and formed a friendship. When COVID-19 hit, our weekly in-person chat went virtual, and we decided to invite you in for even more accountability. There's no hiding, no trying to make ourselves better than we are, just real talk about our struggles and wins as we journey towards better health on Weight Watchers, and you're welcome to join in.
The Real WW Talk podcast offers help and support for anyone on their Weight Watchers-now WW-journey. The hosts are friends Candice, Erin, and Rikki. They discuss their WW health journeys and what they have learned each week. They have made a pact never to hide or pretend and to always be honest with each other and their listeners. These friends believe that they can't expect to make fundamental changes if they aren't willing to be truthful about what needs to change.
Topics on the podcast include everything from kitchen gadgets to setting goals. Summer pep talks discuss seasonal dishes like watermelon, feta, and mint salad. Some also help with "Creating A Roadmap For A New Season" or "Creating Boundaries In A Busy Season." Each episode is about understanding what stage people are at in their evolution. Candice, Erin, and Rikki want to help people build the confidence and self-worth required to succeed.
One podcast episode discusses a message from a listener "facing imposter syndrome." Her journey sounds like one of success. She has dropped four dress sizes and needs to shop for new clothes. But what if adapting to a new body isn't as easy as people think? The listener feels like an imposter now that she is no longer shopping in the larger sections of the stores. Each host shares their own relatable experiences and offers support and advice. “What's Influencing You?" explores different influences that may be helping or harming listeners' WW success. One host analyzes the positive and negative impacts of social media. Another talks about the people in her life who positively affect her mindset. They also rate their experiment of picking a new weigh-in day to reset points.
Real WW Talk is supportive and informative for the WW community. The hosts share their experiences, as well as advice for listeners who may be struggling. However, listeners may want to talk to a medical professional before embarking on a weight loss journey. New podcast episodes arrive Saturdays.
