Finding Balance: Overcoming Productivity Anxiety and Embracing Self-Care as a Mompreneur
Do you ever feel that nagging guilt when you're not spending time with your child, or struggle to find the balance between work and personal life? As a mompreneur, I've faced this challenge head-on, especially with my daughter, Emma, being on summer break and spending time with her father. Join me in this episode as I open up about my journey to overcome productivity anxiety and discover the importance of balancing responsibilities with self-care.Learn how our upbringing can impact our productivity anxiety and the constant feeling of not doing enough. Together, we'll uncover ways to break the cycle by embracing the pleasure of not doing anything, allowing our minds and bodies to recharge, and finding joy in activities that bring happiness. By taking care of ourselves, we can be fully present when spending time with our loved ones and create a more fulfilling life. So, if you're a mompreneur or a working mom who can relate to this struggle, tune in to this heartfelt episode as I share my insights and experiences to help you find your balance.Send us a Text Message.Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launHave you ever wanted to start your own podcast? Schizophrenia & Recovery

Schizophrenia & Recovery
According to the American Psychological Association, Schizophrenia is a serious mental illness characterized by incoherent or illogical thoughts, bizarre behavior and speech, and delusions or hallucinations, such as hearing voices. This week I am joined by Dale Walsh,  as he shares his unique “inside-out” perspective of schizophrenia, having experienced both sides of the illness from deep psychosis to recovered freedom. In this episode, we help debunk many myths about Schizophrenia.Following a thirteen-week hospitalization after being “extracted” from Dartmouth College, Dale was in a private psychiatric program where he was hospitalized nine times over five years. He then moved into his own unsupervised apartment and returned to college at Fairleigh Dickinson University, from where he graduated magna cum laude in English Literature. Diagnosed 45 years ago, Dale has been episode-free for the past 29. His mental health journey has evolved from total psychosis to a miraculous recovery. He has lived independently for forty years. *Remember to like, subscribe, and share this episode with a friend. Let me know what your thoughts are.
