Genocide in the Belgian Congo (Part 3) -  Atrocities of the Ivory Boom

What happened to our whistleblower from Part 2? How did Leopold II create the machine for murder of genocidal proportions in the Belgian Congo? I'll answer these questions and get into some of the first gritty details from the Belgian occupation of the Congo. We'll talk about gender based violence, violence against children as well as the first details of Belgian mass killings.

By the end of the episode, we'll be close to the end of our story and learn about another figure largely lost to history who helped end this genocidal regime...
