I became acquainted with this week’s guest from the reality competition show the BLOX.  When I signed up to compete on an entrepreneur TV show I had no idea what to expect, but I can honestly say that I never considered the genuine friendships and mentorship that I would encounter.

Tyler Young was one of the judges on the BLOX and interestingly enough I never had Tyler as one of my judges.  It wasn’t until the last night on the show that our paths crossed.  Tyler led a group of about 60 contestants down a path of understanding the importance of remembering why they started and why they must remain focused on their goals.  It was after he shared his personal story of his motivation to pursue entrepreneurship that I was motivated to share how he and his story was the premise of my “why”.  Since that moment on the BLOX Tyler and I communicated over the next several months and I was able to learn much more about his many successes and the driving force behind his mission.

We discuss his life growing up, his many mentors, how he overcame several inhibitions to pursue life changing events and how his brother’s struggle with life gives him the courage to face life’s many challenges.  If you are looking for inspiration to chase your dreams and why you should appreciate the smaller things in life this will be the episode for you.
