The unexpected turn with last month's podcast to techno allowed me to fire up a mix I had been throwing together for a really long time. In the late 1990s and Early 2000s there are a few genres that had a certain edginess to them. Bordering Techno, Trance, and straight up Desert Music - I can't really say what it is, but it's definitely a vibe.

This month's mix is a collection of mostly very old music - with just enough new material thrown in to make it cohesive enough for today's stage. I find it really challenging to put together a quality mix of classic tracks because we get so in to playing favorites. We all have those epic jams we fall in love with. But tossing a mix together that flows naturally can't be done with a bunch of anthems.

I actually had this mix done nearly two weeks ago - I didn't upload it because I wanted to take my own time to just enjoy it.
