(Season 64: Episode 04)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life...” You see, God is holy and perfect. In fact, the book of Habbakuk says that “His eyes are too pure to look upon evil; He cannot tolerate wrong.”

And according to Matthew, the standard we all must meet is to “be perfect, as our Heavenly Father is perfect.” You see, we have a big problem. And there is a payment or a wage for our wrongdoings...and that is death. But praise be to God! He had a plan to redeem us.

He sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life and die on the cross in our place. And all who believe in Him, “He gives the right to become children of God.” And we can sing, “Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe.
