In pursuit of Zugchigaungu, the party arrives at Cliffsbay Settlement, a massive Westannican colony overrun with crime and swindlers. After an annoying encounter with some halfling charlatans, the party winds up at the Riverbed Relaxation Complex, where Hudson parties it up on the dance floor, Moriarty starts modifying the party’s equipment, and Jack and Zachariah meet a mysterious figure.
