Do what you love and everything else will follow. Warren Buffet. When we can do what we love, even if it's just in our spare time, it energizes and inspires us. We feel more alive and more present in our lives.  So many of us are doing what we feel we have to and as we live our life part of us begins to get covered up with 'I have to. Slowly we forget what we love and who we are, then when we retire, we don't know what we love anymore.  Today begin to ponder 'what I love.?' Then incorporate a little into your life each week. What you love might change often for awhile and that's great. You'll begin to feel more alive and joyous as the weeks go by. Just begin now and it will change your inner and outer life.

Why is there hatred? How can we move beyond that and how can we deal with others hating something about us, our family, or anyone or anything else? How does hate grow and develop? What can we do to change, cope with or transform this hatred in our culture? When we don't know who we are we will polarize and begin to think that our way is the only way. What can we do to find out who we are and move beyond hate?  The news adds to this polarization, so perhaps we need to question the news. The answer ist o find the love that we are and make choces that come from that love.

There are so many forms of intelligence, which ones make us happy? Intelligence is thinking, reasoning, and understanding instead of just doing things automatically or by instinct. Jill realized through this that she isn't dying from cancer but rather that she is living with cancer. A powerful realization.  Jill also chats about making New Year resolutions and how they can make us despondent when we can't or don't achieve them. So she suggests that rather than making a weight loss resolution eg, resolve to be stronger and healthier.

We don't need to suffer, we can use techniques, meditations, and tools, that can enable us to move beyond struggle and suffering, no matter what is happening in our lives. Pema Chodron in her book, "When things fall apart. Heart advise for difficult times," is a great book to sit with. "The next time you lose heart and you can’t bear to experience what you’re feeling, you might recall this instruction: change the way you see it and lean in. Instead of blaming our discomfort on outer circumstances or on our own weakness, we can choose to stay present and awake to our experience, not rejecting it, not grasping it, not buying the stories that we relentlessly tell ourselves. This is priceless advice that addresses the true cause of suffering—yours, mine, and that of all living beings.When we resist change, it's called suffering.The root of suffering is resisting the certainty that no matter what the circumstances uncertainty is all we truly have.  "When things fall apart. "I started to be free when I realized the cage was made of thoughts!" Unknown.  We create cages for ourselves from our robotic thinking, we aren't aware that we are trapped until we become aware of our thoughts and their patterns. We can free ourselves, but how?Do you know what you are thinking right now? Many aren't, but it is that awareness that cuts the cage of robotic reactions that create our cage, that trap us. Most of us are living in a cage of robotic reactions, which just go round and round. Push my button and I will react and think in the same pattern  every time. Fearless aging, let's explore how we can age fearlessly. When we are comfortable with who we are everyone else will be comfortable with who we are. Many cultures celebrate life stages, and in those cultures, aging is respected and valued. When you travel you see people  eg,  the natural indigenous cultures, you see those who are enjoying their life at any stage. We are on a path through life that moves toward death, and many have a hard time facing this. There are stages in our life, birth, infancy, childhood, etc, most accept a baby moving to toddlerhood, but are terrified to accept aging. We can fearlessly age only when we accept aging and the amazing gifts it brings us We  can still use tools and techniques to keep us strong and vibrant, even use creams, etc to keep our face looking younger.  It's about how we feel about ourselves. When we accept aging, we begin to accept who we are, and we can move without fear, without needing approval or anything to stop us enjoying the peace and joy that comes with aging fearlessly.

It's the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true.” Adyashanti.  Enlightenment is not about what we do or achieve or even find. Enlightenment is who we indeed are. We don't have to be someone special  or do something special. It's a destructive process of removing what we have covered ourselves with, stuff we are holding. As soon as thought - emotions go, we are in our  natural enlightenment; it gets uncovered when we stop thinking. Destructive means taking away something that is not you in the first place. Enlightenment doesn't have to be a complicated process; it's always within us. We are all enlightened from time to time; let's explore.
