Jeannie Fry Grunge-Gal Delights in a Post-Punk World. Join your host Steve Yusko as he explores Jeannie Fry's backstory as a Singer/Songwriter from Brooklyn.
She started off as a teenager playing bass in an all-girl punk in Connecticut in band called Bad Hair. She wrote originals and threw in a cover of "I don't wanna go down to the basement" by The Ramones.
Her current two projects are an indie Rock band (My Little Eye) and a solo project (Embarazada). Embarazada started off as an electropop band with Jeannie writing all the music and lyrics on Garageband. She also wrote all the music for a few plays written by playwright Nina Morrison. We're hoping to do a production of her latest musical sometime in 2023. Find out more about Jeannie Fry here: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/poozyalzate/
