We've talked many times on this show about how anxiety and depression are some of the fastest growing illnesses world wide and how debilitating they can be. What role does expression through song and art play in allowing us to reveal our true selves through who God has called us to be?
We are so blessed to have singer-songwriter and worship leader Jen Mozley on this week's episode of the Music for the Soul Podcast. Jen talks about growing up feeling suppressed from pursuing a passion in music. She describes how she overcame her anxiety, depression and ADHD by learning to do one extraordinary thing a day.
Jen explains when we break things down to just do one thing at a time, it can help overcome those feelings of being overwhelmed and intimidated. From there, that one extraordinary thing every day begins to work in our lives to transform our lives from ordinary to extraordinary with the grace, love and empathy that come from our Father in Heaven.
Who is Jen Mozley?

As a passionate singer-songwriter, and worship leader, Jen Mozley's zeal for music began as a little child listening to her father sing and play piano her church in Georgia.  Her main desire is to spread the love of Christ through her words and music to inspire others to chase after God's own heart.

She is blessed to be married to an amazing man and to be a mom to her beautiful, fun loving daughter.  Her entire family is so encouraging and supportive. Currently, Jen is the worship leader at Rivertown Church in Columbus, GA.  If you are local and looking for a church home, she'd love to see you there!
