In this podcast… Joseph Ladapo, Surgeon General of Florida, is an anti-vaxer. He goes beyond simple anti-vaxer, though. He’s a doctor and he’s actively using his authority as an actor of the state to push absolutely insane conspiracies about the vaccine. It would be kind of entertaining and comical if it weren’t so sad Christian Nationalism isn’t really Christianity. Not completely. It’s an authoritarian ideology that seems to be using christianity as a carrier to get the believers where they want to be. I’m not just claiming that — I found some clips that prove it. Let’s talk about it. Kenneth Copeland was the subject of a documentary, so I want to talk about some of his… stranger clips. For one thing, He claims he’s going to live to 120. He didn’t just say it as an offhanded remark, either. He repeated it. He explained how he’s going to make it happen. What are his followers going to think when he doesn’t make it to 120? They’ll probably just think to themselves, “wow. What a great man. He loved god so much that god couldn’t stand to be away from him any longer.” These people need help. Immediately.
