As we continue our study in covenant theology, we come to Genesis 17. God has been dealing with Abram, here renamed Abraham, in a covenantal way. Here God gives Abraham a sign of the covenant, the sign of circumcision. As we examine the meaning of circumcision, we'll see there is a link between circumcision and baptism.
