Tomorrow is New Year's Day, and like many holidays, New Year's seems to be approached with either hope and excitement or cynicism and disdain. Some celebrate with the hope of a fresh start, a clean slate, a chance to begin again. While others see January 1st as just another day, more of the same, marked by resolutions destined to be broken. As we look at 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 this morning, let us celebrate that in Christ, we truly can experience lasting change and newness of life.
