Having toured and recorded with Aretha Franklin, Rick James, Natalie Cole, New Kids on the Block, Carlos Santana, Tower of Power, and more, I was shocked I'd only recently learned about Ray and was super excited to meet him! We talk about moving to Boston for Berklee, his transition from club gigs, to "GB" bands, to stadium events, juggling touring life with family, the Boston music scene in the 80's and 90's (guess what? venues are still disappearing), and much more.
