How this successful 37 year old uses a Growth Mindset and a "Long Time-Horizon" to invest in his financial health, physical health and relationships
Welcome to another episode of Syren Thriving, featuring special guest Sasha Savonovic.Sasha was born in Bosnia and came here as a refugee from the war.  Despite, if not through this incredible hardship, he excelled in school and studied economics, eventually getting an economics degree from University of California, San Diego.  He has since held positions in one of the top macroeconomic adviser firms in the world, and has since progressed his career into the tech startup world where he continues to shine in sales and business development.Aside from being an investment guru, he is one of the kindest and most confident people I’ve ever met. He is simultaneously full of love and truly accepts and respects anyone for who they are, yet does not give a shit what anyone thinks about him, if they don’t matter of course.  He is fiercely loved by his family and loyal groups of friends, and of course, his girlfriend ;)He also happens to be a great cook that not only makes great food, but plates it as beautifully as a 5 star restaurant. We are bringing him on today to talk about why it’s important to gain financial literacy at any age, the steps he is taking to reach financial freedom in his 30s, including purchasing his first property, valuing yourself in your career and keeping a growth mindset and his unique perspective on lifelong friendships and long-term relationships.IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:- how bio-hacking relates to and defies agesim- tech-hacks to help you be more efficient and focused when consuming information- the importance and process for having a healthy "information diet"- how having a long-time horizon is beneficial for investing, relationships and health- the benefits of choosing the ones you love everyday and for lifePlease subscribe to the channel and share the episode.   Enjoy the show!*******CONNECT WITH SASHA:Blog: ninjanomics.wordpress.comSeeking Alpha: cryptonomicsTwitter @ninjanomics1SASHA'S IMMORTAL GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE:https://ninjanomics.wordpress.com/2021/10/20/ninjanomics-immortal-green-smoothie-recipe/FOR MORE CONTENT OR COACHING WITH SYREN:syrenthriving.comInstagram @syrenthrivingTikTok@syrenthrivingYoutube @syrenthringPintrest @syrenthriving MUSIC:Today's Plan by DJ Freedom

Vampires, Immortality and Agesim with a 33 year old who will be the Final Girl
Welcome to another episode of our Thriving Thirties Series featuring Jessica Maissonet.  Jessica graduated from New York University with a degree in Film and Media studies.  She has taken that creative energy and training to build a boss-ass career in marketing and advertising, working in the early stages of her career with brands like MTV and NBC, then moved on to becoming a Creative Product Manager at the Ed-Tech company Scholastic, and is currently working at a small, unknown company called Gooooogle as a Marketing Manager. As if her career didn’t keep her busy enough, she has taken breaks from her marketing life to create her own publication and work on her own scripts, and has accomplished 2 pilots titled “Concrete Jungle and Hair of the Joe.  Her current creative projects are an upcoming novel she is titling “Holy” and a web series called “Dolby and Stereo”.One of the coolest aspects to her art, in my opinion, is her passion for horror and fantasy.  She captures monsters, the macabre, the morbid in a poetic and riveting way which is a delightful contrast to her otherwise sweet persona. She has also recently taken up the hobby of being a dope mixologist, adding her own style to cocktail recipes with the coolest names that are either obscure or her own making such as Iznagi’s Burden, Spock’s Slipper or Forbidden dance - either way you need to try them so I’ll definitely be linking her instagram where she shares them.We are bringing her on today to talk about how she balances her many artistic pursuits with her business pursuits, why many age standards are simply a trap and how age relates not only to mortality - but immortality.IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:-What the genres of Horror and Fantasy can teach us about ageism and immortaltiy-How to specifically use gratitude as a tool for productivity and attracting the kind of life you want-How fashion is about evolving as a person rather than age-How to access your own creativity to write your own narrative that it's never too latePlease subscribe to the channel and share the episode.   Enjoy the show!*******CONNECT WITH JESSICA:IG @herinfernalmajestyFOR MORE CONTENT OR COACHING WITH SYREN:syrenthriving.comInstagram @syrenthrivingTikTok@syrenthrivingYoutube @syrenthringPintrest @syrenthrivingMUSIC:That One Bar Scene by RKVC

Learning about confidence, class and engineering your life for true peace from a 39 year old (just a few minutes before turning 40!)
Welcome to another episode of our Thriving Thirties Series.  Our guest today is the talented, the fabulous, the ray of sunshine, Christine Jordan.  She graduated from the University of California Davis with a degree in Computer Engineering. Right after college, her career took a different turn, as she began working at one of the biggest accounting firms in the world, and through natural talent for working with teams, an excellent eye for detail, and her ability to lead with humilty and grace, her career trajectory began as an  admin assistant at age 24, then slowly but surely moved up the ranks to executive assistant at 32, to manager, and then regional manager when she turned 38 a couple years ago.Literally everyone that ever meets her say she is one of the nicest people they’ve ever met, and that is no exaggeration.  To be around her is to have your day brightened up, and to interact with someone who will genuinely choose to see the best in you.  One small detail, is that she happens to be my big sister, so I have known her all my life and I can tell you that she is a gem for our family who selflessly takes care of everyone and makes quality time with her family her first priority. She also makes self-care a priority and stays fit by eating healthy, thanks to a healthy addiction to cooking shows, and in 2021 is still obsessed with the backstreet boys and exercises by dancing to them and many other of our favorite pop songs from the 90s and 2000s.We are bringing her on today to reflect on her 30s as she is at the very end of this incredible decade, what it has been like to grow in her career, the joys and challenges of raising teenage daughters and how she lives a life of true peace and happiness.  We recorded this episode at 9pm on the day before her 40th birthday so this is an incredible and extra special moment that we are capturing, right here on Syren thriving, that she is of course giving us, because I will forever be the spoiled little sister.IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:- how getting older makes you think about the next decades and phases of your life- the joys and challenges of motherhood and raising teenagers in  your 30s- the lifelong journey of gaining confidence in yourself and overcoming fears- the importance of self-care and renewing your spirit-how calling someone a "human being" can be a "self-check" to send compassion for others- the power of gratitude and the exact process our guest uses for dealing with the inevitable hardships of lifePlease subscribe to the channel and share the episode.   Enjoy the show!*******FOR MORE CONTENT OR COACHING WITH SYREN:syrenthriving.comInstagram @syrenthrivingTikTok@syrenthrivingYoutube @syrenthringPintrest @syrenthrivingMUSIC:Sunny Travel by Nico Staf
