Episode 2: The Day I Met My Boaz
Walk with me down memory lane in a time where I was searching for love in ALL of the wrong places. Christian and I discuss the three men who I date, the lessons that helped me to see that there was something within myself that was drawing these types of men, and my triumph to relationship victory. In this episode, I reference three men I dated at three different times in my life. They are: Mr. Dressed Up In Lies:  Mr. Dressed Up in Lies is a suave individual with charisma who is educated and claimed to have so much going on. He was a businessman who always had a bunch of meetings that he attended and facilitated throughout the day… EVERYDAY, including Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Totally Ambivalent:  He was tall and very handsome. He was a little slender, but had a nice physique. His tone of voice was deep and talked all corporate America’ish.  Mr. Love Pistol:  I will never forget the night that he said, “If anything ever happens to us, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you are not an AWESOME woman.” I thought nothing of it. I said, “Okay.” To order The Day I Met My Boaz, Or, copy and paste https://cutt.ly/The-Day-I-Met-My-BoazDedication The Day I Met My Boaz is dedicated to the women who have not had success with their relationships as a result of traumatic experiences that have taken place in your lives. Sometimes, we are left to feel like we aren’t good enough, we aren’t worthy, we’re not pretty enough, too fat, too skinny, too old, and so many other things that society says is wrong that makes us not admirable of being in a productive relationship. On top of experiencing trauma, you fail to gain the acceptance of someone you were hoping would be your forever love. Somewhere in this, the trauma that you have experienced has caused feelings of abandonment, rejection, and even depression and anxiety. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. I am also here to tell you that your past is not your final destination. You have the ability to rewrite your destiny. Grab your pen, journal, and of course, this book and lets change the trajectory of your lives. Keci MoniquèEpigraph It’s Not Who You Love, but What You Love The Bible presents marriage as an institution that should be highly respected and esteemed above all other institutions. Hebrews 13:4 says, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." The King James Version reads, "Marriage is honorable in all..." "Honorable" translates the Greek word timios, which also means "valuable, costly, honored, esteemed, beloved, and precious." All means "all": The Greek word is pas, meaning "all, any, every, the whole, thoroughly, whatsoever, and whosoever." Marriage, then, should be valued and esteemed, and held in highest honor at all times in all things by all people everywhere. That is God's design. Dr. Myles Munroe Girl Power...
