Dr. Michael Loizou is a leading expert in health technology and digital healthcare, with over two decades of experience in both academia and industry. He is currently the Associate Professor in Digital Healthat University of Plymouth and a Visiting Professor in Digital Healthcare at Coventry University. His research interests span a range of fields, including human machine interaction, virtual and augmented reality, serious games and gamification, and mobile technologies for healthcare and wellbeing. Dr. Loizou is also highly experienced in working with the NHS and has managed and owned companies across a variety of industries, leading the introduction of novel technologies.
