After running over a man with their car on the 4th of July, four friends make a pact to never tell anyone what has happened. A year later, final girl Julie James receives a letter that reads "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER!" and begins to wonder who sent the letter. As the one year anniversary approaches and July 4th is slowly sneaking up on them, the four friends must come together to face off with a mysterious man that is chasing after them.
