Jesus still changes people’s lives. He still comes to the dry wilderness of our hearts. One by one he works in us through his word. He takes our tangled mess of sins on himself. He gives us living water that bubbles up to eternal life. “I am he” he says. You aren’t lost. No more desperate searching is needed. You don’t need to die in the desert of your soul. Find in Jesus the water of life. Drink in his precious Word. Be satisfied with his perfect righteousness, the righteousness that gives you life, that refreshes your soul.
