Well, would you look at that! A whole new season has arrived, right on our very doorstep. Just. Like. That. In the blink of an eye, the September Equinox has made an appearance. From Saturday onwards, the days and nights are of equal length, and, depending on where you live, are about to get much shorter or longer.

This is an important turning point, symbolically speaking. It’s a stitch in time where the cosmos whispers in our ear, takes our hand, and gently nudges us into the unknown. What will grow in these next few months, until the culmination of the December Solstice? What will be released? It’s a golden opportunity for us all to pause, reflect, and assess. With the Sun heading into compromising, fair-minded Libra, the call is one of balance; of equilibrium, and of finding that sweet spot, right in the middle, be that related to work, play, love, money, health… you name it.

Decisions, however, may be harder to come by, as the Libran Sun weighs up all options and finds herself somewhat at a loss, preferring to defer choices to someone else - her partner, lover, parent, friend - dang, even the lovely checkout lady at the local grocery store can weigh in if she likes.

But, we must try. Try and move in a direction. Any direction. The strength of the scales lies in the fact that once we decide, we must trust we’ve picked the best option. Because we really, really have. Believe it. And, we’ve done it in a way that pleases everyone, not just ourselves. We totally deserve a medal.

What will serve us, if we may just take one skip back in time, is the fact that said Sun links to Pluto on Thursday, right before leaving Virgo and entering Libra on Saturday. This trine aspect is powerful, baby. It gives us power. It makes us feel strong, in control, ambitious, driven. From the middle of the week onward, we can harness the incredible energy of this configuration and allow it to propel us into the promising future that the September Equinox holds. Tally ho!
