Ep 7: !! 4 True Goal Getter INDICATORS !! EMBODY your vision STEP BY STEP
Episode IntroIn this episode, Anna shares important points to consider when trying to achieve our goals, including reasons why we don't achieve them, why we are sluggish in our efforts towards them, and particularly the role of clarity in our vision.  Key Takeaways:❏    Four factors to consider when working with a goal: The first is that you often fear doing things that you truly want. It is important to admit that in your fears and effort to push certain things away, there are things that you want to attract into your life, and you have to go through the ones you do not want. Saying and accepting this releases much energy to face such challenges. ❏    Secondly, decide if you truly need to achieve your goals because if you are not doing anything towards them, it might be due to excuses you give that stop you from taking action. After dreaming, the next step is doing something about it. Fears, tension, uncertainty, and the possibility of mistakes are all normal obstacles on the path between your dreams and reality.  ❏    Next, admit that you will look like a loser sometimes, especially when you have no idea about a particular topic. However, you will learn more in such a situation. You may also create a separate identity equipped with certain qualities to deal with very challenging situations. Anna does this and wears different hats of different personalities to achieve her goals.  ❏    While going towards your goal, the first few steps can feel very clueless because you're still learning. You may have to face fear, disappointment, or other emotions that are parts of you. However, many people do not want to face all these parts, and as such they end up going in circles, doing nothing. You have to face these parts because they exist normally in all of us. Interestingly, the more you resist this, the more it chases you. ❏    The fourth part is Vision. You must encourage others by showing what's possible. You were given this gift to encourage others. If you don't show others what is possible, you will never feel like you're enough, and you will only take from the world without giving anything back. Focusing on what you get instead of what you can give others may be the reason things are not working out. ❏    If you currently feel like you are lacking in vision, know that this can happen to anyone. It might be that you are consuming too much of another person's vision. Focus on finding clarity for yourself by trusting that it will come. Stop consuming too much of other people's vision. ❏    The more you are yourself with your authentic vision, the more things around you will play out. Connect, encourage, be around people, and hug your fear.  Standout Quotes:"The question is ‘how many lessons will it take you to learn?""You must ask yourself, do you really need this?""The state of dreaming is the bottom layer; it's the easiest part to commit""Every time you are hanging out with your dream, you will be facing your shadow side" "You must encourage others by showing what's possible" "The clarity that you are seeking is finding its way to you right now; it will come"
Ep4: DON'T Raise Your Prices UNTIL You HEAR THIS!

Ep4: DON'T Raise Your Prices UNTIL You HEAR THIS!
This episode is inspired by the last day of MARA Academy beginners PMU training I just finished teaching, I was sharing all my tricks on pricing, how to market yourself in a saturated market of permanent makeup and how to establish your PERSONAL Brand. I hope you consider my tips that I am sharing here  before raising your service pricing.Key Takeaways:❏    Sometimes, considering your needs and your expertise, you are moved to raise your rates because it seems deserving. However, it is important to review your Client Experience first because when you have a top-notch client experience, raising your rates won't turn off current clients or potential clients. When was the last time you thought of not only improving your technique but investing in your client experience?❏    The focus of this episode is to help artists create a reputation for offering the best client experience and leverage this in raising their rates. ❏    Client Experience refers to how a company or its workers treats customers, which can turn them either into raving fans or non-returning clients. It is important to place viewers as the hero of their own story, not you as the artist. ❏    Very often, artists get upset because clients send them messages asking for information that is readily available on the business website or social media page, however, a website won't do the professional job of answering questions. There has to be a qualified professional ready to give these consultations. ❏    Ensure that your page or platform makes the customer excited to work with you and confident in your ability. Be sure to make your work about them and show how it is easy for them to reach you. ❏    "My main rule for all my products or services is to under-promise and overdeliver" Even after customers describe your product or service as good, do they return or give a referral? This is important because good or excellent service is not enough to raise your prices in a saturated market. You need to be so outstanding and unparalleled that clients consistently believe that you over-delivered and they underpaid, which makes them more likely to refer you to a lot of people or keep coming back. ❏    Start off the experience by providing a welcome-package that gives the client confidence in their decision.❏    The idea is not to promise minimal results to your client but you should keep your magnificent service a little bit of a surprise. This could be in form of more attention or time, a little extra service, an extra email, or coffee. However, over-delivering shouldn't be something that stretches you too thin but something that excites you.❏    Make the extra cost worth the extra value you're providing; if you're going to raise your prices, you also need to raise the level of service and experience someone will get from you.   Standout Quotes "86% of buyers are willing to pay more for a great customer experience""I actually like to call Mara studio and Mara academy clients "Guests"; it is about your guest, and not about you""Your website won't do the job for you; it's there to help but not to replace you""Everyone wants their service to be more personable""Good', nowadays, is considered to be 'just fine""There are tons of different ways to show your clients you care, none of which you need to guarantee from the get-go" Connect with me on IG: https://www.instagram.com/anna.marastudio/

Ep2: 9 Things You Should NOT Be Doing on Instagram in 2022

Ep2: 9 Things You Should NOT Be Doing on Instagram in 2022
In today's episode, I describe my strategies for success in marketing MARA brand using Instagram. Offering highly effective practical steps, I will actually share  a "Not-To-Do" list for those who have some form of content or hobby and want to get known for it on Instagram. Key Takeaways:❏    The first point to note is "Stop separating your work and Life accounts". This is especially because you are the same person both at work and in other aspects of life; you have the same values, interests, and drive. Sharing all of this in one place helps people to know you better, and this attracts more clients; even friends will become customers when both are merged on one page. ❏     Stop hunting for a lot of likes or followers because it doesn't necessarily get converted into money, rather, do what you like and what interests your audience. ❏    Next, Stop waking up to your phone. Before you open your social media or check your phone first in the morning, go about your other morning activities first to set your mood right. All the people and activities on Instagram can be quite overwhelming for the mind right out of bed, which is bad for mental health. ❏    So, no rule says you must always post at a specific time. Based on years of my research, it doesn't make any major difference in the outcome of the post. Don't just post and ghost; even at the best time, if people respond or give feedback on your posts but you are not there to respond, then it doesn't matter. ❏    Recounting the experience of losing a previous Instagram account with 60k followers, I emphasize the need to have a backup account; Such an account would contain very similar information with a similar name to the main one so that it can serve the function of keeping a second record of activities on the main account. 2 years since the loss of that account, I has used these same methods to build another page from scratch now to 30k followers. ❏    Your stories are the most important part of your Instagram feed for your raving fans. This puts your fans in a position where they know something about your life, however, posting stories nonstop is not a good idea. People would scroll through your stories at some point and your statistics on Instagram will drop; this will then be interpreted by Instagram as people not being interested in your content. As a result, your content will be moved to the very back of the feed of your followers. Instead of posting nonstop, take a few hours or days off, then start fresh with a first post that is something valuable to your audience. ❏    Avoid posting only your work.  Stand out and share your goals and values out there. ❏    Keep in mind that Instagram was not originally made to be a sales platform. ❏    If your posts don't get any feedback, ask your audience what they want to see, because they are in the best position to tell you. ❏    For those who may be worried about having time to create and post content, it often takes just a few minutes to take pictures and create content randomly throughout the day and then at a convenient time, post them. It is pivotal as part of a means of maximizing Instagram as a tool to market yourself. "It's better to show up imperfectly than not to show up at all"Connect with me on Instagram at @anna.marastudio

Ep1: Before the Success: Meet Anna
Meet your host, Anna as she shares more about herself, her journey, as well as how her company started. She highlights her different challenges and levels of growth, with emphasis on her goal to empower listeners to follow their dreams. Key Episode Takeaways:❏    We often get stuck at a point, unable to move forward with our deep desires because we can't find answers to the questions that are uncomfortable, or scary. In the end, we blame ourselves for not taking that step we wanted to. ❏    We live in a world where social media shows off amazing people and stories but rarely tells the struggle behind success. The reality is that we all have a past that should not define who we are. ❏    Anna's story starts as an immigrant, when she moved from Belarus with barely any money on her, trying to settle with her husband in the US. She has since realized that asking for help is not something to avoid but to embrace. ❏    Anna started several menial jobs which she had to keep changing since most of them were seasonal. However, when it became too arduous to continue, she knew she wanted something better for herself. ❏    Around that time, she got introduced to Microblading eyebrows, picked up a strong interest in it, and decided to invest all her energy and resources into it. Sadly, her family did not offer much support as they felt she would do better as a secretary. Nonetheless, her mind was made up to follow her desire for Microblading. Our families typically wish the best for us but they don't often see our possibilities. ❏    Anna started learning and her career took off in a short time with a lot of clients booking her even before she fully learned the skill and gained mastery of it. ❏    It is critical to just get started with whatever it is that you want to do because many people don't start while many people who start down continue and many who continue may give up at some point but many winners are just the last ones standing. ❏    After some time, Anna also started teaching other beginners and got so overwhelmed that she was booked and her husband had to join to assist. This growth continued and they created the brand "Mara" but when Covid-19 hit, they had to face the challenge of doing an online course, which became successful. ❏    Anna started this podcast to also empower people to uncover their potential and live their lives to the fullest. Unlike the upbringing we all have where we're expected to focus on a single entity for the rest of our lives, it is perfectly okay to have multiple interests and passions. There are several other projects that Anna has gotten into as part of the Mara brand.  Standout Quotes"Nothing in your past should define you""In life, there are so many amazing people that are willing to help you, and really they do care about you""You have to invest in your dreams because they are only yours, and you are the only one in charge to make them happen""You don't learn and then you start, you start and then you learn"  Connect with Anna: https://www.instagram.com/anna.marastudio
