Well... as we hinted at in our previous podcast, the rumors turned out to be true. Yesterday, at the annual Facebook Connect 2021, Facebook announced that it is officially rebranding its company name to Meta, to reflect its future strategy which focuses on building the metaverse.
They also announced some new devices, some platform changes, some new games as well as further detail about its vision for the metaverse.
