Binge-Listen: Finished Fiction Podcast Trailers

Feb 8 2024 • 22 mins

Greetings, and welcome to The End Last Week, This Week, and Next Week, the podcast companion to The End, the listener-focused directory and weekly newsletter that shines a light back on audio fiction shows after they've reached the finale of a season or the conclusion of the series. I am your host and the curator of The End, Evo Terra.

Before we begin, my apologies for missing the last week’s episode. You can blame my kidneys. I certainly do. Hopefully I’m much better now.

Also, I’m stoked to give another quick and heartfelt shout-out, this time to Jaz for becoming the latest Individual Supporter to support The End. It is greatly appreciated, Jaz. May your selfless act be a beacon to others who also want to see The End continue. If that guilt trip worked on you, visit TheEnd.fyi/support.

And now, let’s get into it, shall we?

Listen to the 24 current episodes in about 10 hours
  • 🏰🔍📜 • This House Will Devour You, a narrated horror series from Citeog Podcasts, posted the Season 2 finale on Febuary 6th. You’ll need about 12 hours to listen to the 25 current episodes.

This Week

With every issue, I make two recommendations for great audio fiction I personally love. As with all things in life, YMMV.

  • 🍔🌌⏳ • My first recommendation is Midnight Burger, a dramatized scifi comedy series from Joe Fisher & Fable & Folly. Ok, now I know why people get addicted to this show and never want it to end. It *feels* like Dr. Who, though it’s not *like* Dr. Who. The writing and acting are superb. The storylines as goofy as they are poignant, though it takes a while to see the latter. Here’s a snippet of the first episode: [snippet plays] Midnight Burger currently has three completed seasons, with Season 4 slated to start in April. If you want to catch up before them, start now, as you’ll need about 42 hours to listen to the current 44 episodes.

  • 💸🥳👯‍♀️ • My next recommendation is The Lamb, a dramatized comedy show from...
