The 2022 AfroTech conference in Austin, TX provided a great environment for a conversation on what it's like to be African and American. Thanks to the Blavity team for letting us record this conversation live at the AfroTech Expo Hall Sound Bar.

In this episode of the #BlackBoyFly podcast, Dr. Addae talks with two first-generation African Americans about their experiences with Blackness in the African Diaspora. Dr. Gerald Onuoha II, a Nigerian American, is an Internal Medicine Physician at HCA Healthcare/Envision in Nashville, TN. He is also the Founder and CEO of Everybody Vs Racism. Daniel Oppong, a Ghanaian American, is the Founder and CEO of The Courage Collective. He is also the Founder and CEO of the Boundless Fellowship Program.
