Today I'm joined by Ray Cook, who as someone who struggled with weight management and health as a whole for much of his early life, Ray turned his challenges and lack of knowledge around exercise and nutrition into an opportunity to build a career around helping transform the lives of others with similar backgrounds. Specifically, Ray helps busy parents overcome the stresses of life, lack of time, and the exhaustion that comes with being a working parent so that the parents he coaches can be the best they can be for their children. When Ray isn’t training his clients and working as a strength coach at a local high school, he enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn daughter, playing drums, and video games. On this episode, Ray and I discuss topics such as mindset/mental health toward fat loss, nutrition tendencies related to stress and self perception, home workouts and how they can be effective and combating the excuse of no time to work on oneself.
