In 2012, Matthew overdosed on spice and amphetamines.  He experienced a rapid increased in heart rate.

As he woke up, he he experienced a feeling of serenity.  He described himself as a blue haze and saw others without form in a zone that he called "the void."

He met another soul and learned much and saw much about him by exchanging large blocks of information.  He viewed billions of lights and explains seeing the light of God.
