“Money is a terrible master, but it can be a masterful servant.” Scripture doesn’t demand that we renounce our resources, but instead that we use them for the glory of God. We don’t serve money, money serves us. This is how we transform our culture when it comes to how we use our money. God’s Word has a lot to say about money, so we have help. Jesus was God in the flesh, so if we want to know how to interact with culture we can look to the life and ministry of Jesus. And when it came to the subject of money Jesus was not intimidated to talk about it. But it wasn't just about money, it almost always had to do with the heart and valuing the eternal Kingdom of God over the temporary kingdom of this world.
