She is now known as the "Positivity Pro" after surviving childhood sexual abuse, contemplating suicide, and appearing on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on the TEDx stage. Her mission is to inspire audiences to thrive. She believes that "There is Always an Upside" to everything life gives us! It's all about reframing self-limiting beliefs! Rena has developed her program, The THRIVE Perspective®. This program takes an innovative approach that focuses on mindset success for 100% personal accountability. The THRIVE Perspective® philosophy is a solution-based approach that helps survivors focus on and be proud of their courage, strength, and tenacity to persevere during and after trauma. Rena's TEDx talk is being viewed worldwide, and she continues to receive thousands of thank you notes that this talk has encouraged survivors who were also contemplating suicide to seek counseling.
